MATTHEW J. CHIASSON

AREAS OF PRACTICE: Land use, real estate, local government law, litigation, family law and appellate advocacy.

MEMBERSHIPS: Matt is a member of the Missouri Bar and is actively involved with the Platte and Clay County Bar. He is also admitted to practice before the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Western District and the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.

PROFILE: Matt graduated from Hendrix College in 1995 with a degree in psychology. He then received his M.S. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas in 1997. In 2000, he graduated with distinction from the University of Oklahoma, College of Law.

While at the University of Oklahoma, Matt was the Assistant Article Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review and received Academic Achievement Awards for Land Use and Land Titles. He also clerked for the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals from 1998 to 1999.

Matt has been with Gunn, Shank & Stover, P.C. since December, 2000.
