AREAS OF PRACTICE: Gregory Carpenter heads the firm’s tax practice and devotes a great deal of his time to tax estate planning and tax research. He also practices in the areas of bankruptcy, business law, commercial law, probate, real estate, and litigation.
 

MEMBERSHIPS: Greg is a member of the Clay County Bar Association and is admitted to practice in Missouri and the United States Tax Court.
 

PROFILE: Greg earned his Bachelors degree in business administration from the University Missouri-Kansas City in 1973 and passed his CPA exams at first sitting. Subsequently, he earned his MBA and Juris Doctorate degrees from UMKC in 1982 and 1983, respectively.

Greg started his professional career with Arthur Andersen & Co., an international accounting firm. Thereafter, he served as treasurer of Ming America. Upon his graduation from law school in 1983, he joined the firm.

Greg was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. He and his wife, Marcia, reside in Clay County, Missouri.
